The area offers a broad range of attractions. From
the Tremiti islands with fantastic diving spots (reachable
by fast boat), to the Foresta umbra with nature trails
for all fitness levels, the ragged and spectacular coastline
interrupted by medieval villages, the marine grottos accessible
by boat, the sea-water lakes of Lesina and Varano, the
village of Monte St.Angelo with the monastery St.Michael,
and finally San Giovanni Rotondo, destination of pilgrims
wishing to visit Padre Pio's tomb. Guided tours to these
